Mixed packs of 100% pure Mulberry Silk thread, ideal for embroidery, lace making, miniatures or fine knitting and crochet. Lovely smooth silk with a beautiful sheen. Available in packs of five different colours - each approximately 5 metres - for those who don't need large quantities per colour. Each thread is 2/20nm.
The individually wound threads are hand-painted using the same technique as our knitting yarns and produced in small batches. The colours are repeatable but will show minor variations from skein to skein, and between batches.
The thread is designed to give gentle and randomly spaced colour transitions, making it ideal for portraying natural subjects in embroidery.
