Yvaine Shetland Stole Kit - Shetland Wool Lace
Yvaine, a Scottish name meaning “Evening Star”, is a lovely rectangular stole using traditional Shetland lace stitches. The design requires patterning on both sides, which makes it a little more challenging than many of my designs, but the garter-stitch background makes this much easier than a stocking-stitch ground. It is recommended for Advanced knitters.
Worked on 3.50mm needles, the finished stole measures 66 cm (26 inches) wide by 188 cm (76 inches) long.
This kit includes the printed pattern and two 100g (800m) skeins of our 100% Shetland Wool Lace yarn, sufficient to make the laceweight version of the stole as written. (The pattern also includes instructions for a cobweb weight version.)
