Spring Equinox Shawl Pattern
PLEASE NOTE: This listing is for a knitting pattern only. Knitted items shown are NOT for sale. The pattern can be supplied as a printed pattern by post, or can be emailed to you as a pdf attachment. If you are a member of www.ravelry.com I will also place a copy in your Ravelry library if required after purchase - please add your Ravelry username to the notes section at checkout. This will ensure you receive any future updates to the pattern.
This shawl was originally released as a Mystery Knit-along on Ravelry.com, where you'll find lots of pictures of the different versions knitted during the challenge.
Suitable for knitters with a little experience of lace, with optional beading, it is adjustable in size and is designed to be worked on a circular needle with a single 100g skein of laceweight or 4-ply/sock yarn. If you would like a skein of yarn dyed to order for this, please contact me.
The design gives you lots of options. Each section of pattern is slightly varied, so you can mix and match the charts, or work the first section in stocking stitch if you prefer. There are two versions of the edging, one a little shorter and useful if you find you're running out of yarn! There are also options for beading, using just a few or lots of beads, throughout the shawl or just on the edging - I used over 1,000 for my 4-ply allover beaded version shown in the first picture!
The pattern is both charted and written in full.
