This yarn is ideal for heavier weight lace, as well as Fair Isle and other colourwork techniques, giving a soft effect with a beautiful natural lustre.  It's also quite hard-wearing and ideal for everyday wear. Hand dyed/painted 4-ply (400m per 100g) in high quality 100% British Blue Faced Leicester wool, worsted spun especially for us in Cornwall.  It gives a soft yarn with good stitch definition that takes dye beautifully.  Perfect for shawls and scarves, hats and gloves, or a warm and cosy pair of socks!

Our BFL 4-ply was used by Anniken Allis for her Wentwood Shawl in Issue 127 of The Knitter Magazine, in the Mystic Forest colourway.
