This luxurious yarn is a luscious blend of 75% Suri Alpaca (the rarer breed of alpaca with the long, silky locks), 20% Huacaya Alpaca (the more commonly seen breed with the crimped fleece) and 5% Silk, with excellent drape and lustre, giving a generous 225m/50g or 450m/100g.
This yarn was used for the sample of Julie's shawl design, "Ulyana" (pictured right). The shawl takes two 100g skeins and the edging has optional beading.
