A blend of 60% Merino Wool, 20% Silk and 20% Yak in a standard laceweight (800m/100g).  The base yarn is a mid-brown colour, so won’t produce very pale or pastel shades. However, Julie specialises in dyeing non-white bases, and the resulting colours have a depth and glow to them that you just don’t get with an ecru yarn.
